Executive Director Cedric Huntley continues to raise the profile of the Nonviolence Institute in 2021, being featured in the December 17, 2022 article "22 Rhode Island artists, athletes, scientists, activists, and more to watch in 2022."
On funding of $500k from the American Rescue Plan Act, which would be distributed by the major's office, for a citywide nonviolence training program, Cedric said “We have to be consistent in keeping our efforts and our commitment to the mission of preventing and educating people on nonviolence."
