Creating a Healthy Beloved Community
ISPN programs are modeled after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s ideal of the nonviolent Beloved Community, in which everyone is included.
Our programs bring together Kingian nonviolence philosophy and theories of social change with concrete community-building practices. We provide a continuum of care to reduce violence and build a sense of hope and positive identity in the individuals we serve. We do this through building lasting, positive relationships.
